Who Am I?
I am a spring 2021 graduate of Northern Arizona University, and an accomplished young professional. I am a Colorado native, and spent my entire life in the Denver area until relocating to Flagstaff, Arizona for college.
In college, I majored in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, and minored in Arts and Cultural Management. Throughout college, I held multiple on-campus and off-campus jobs and internships, including being a peer mentor and social director for an on-campus mentoring program, an instructor for a college course designed to introduce freshmen to the Honors College, and a Communications Assistant for the College of Arts and Letters. Off-campus, I was the Marketing and Development Intern for Breckenridge Music in Breckenridge, CO during the summer of 2019, and spent the entirety of senior year as the Marketing Intern for the Downtown Flagstaff Business Alliance.
Currently I am a Digital Account Specialist for Denver Post Media, overseeing reporting and optimizations for advertising accounts and supporting the digital reach of The Denver Post. Additionally, I am a new staff writer for Unpublished Magazine, contributing one article a month. In 2022 I also worked a part-time freelance job for Emmy Award-winning journalist, author, talk show host, and historian, Janus Adams. I assisted Janus with the reach of her podcast The Janus Adams Show, her public speaking ventures, her book talks, and her children's publishing company, BackPax Kids. I created website and social media content for her, and planned her event SistaFest for her book “Sister Days: 365 Inspired Moments in African-American Women’s History”.
